DJ Service

As part of the package an excellent DJ service is also available to finish off the night’s dancing and entertainment. As with the band, the DJ will cater for all musical tastes on the night with thousands of songs to choose from.

To ensure the music is perfectly right for your wedding we welcome your list of favourite songs in advance, we will also do our best to play requests on the night and will react to the changing moods on the dance-floor.

Do you do Wedding Fairs?

No. One of the most common mistakes people make is to book a band at a wedding fair because they like what they see or hear. Remember, the most important skill a wedding band must have is to be able to change, adapt and react to what works for your wedding guests and gets them on the floor. This is an art in itself and cannot be demonstrated at a wedding fair – just think about it!

Do you play songs/music for the older guests?

Believe it or not this is the most common question we get asked! The reason for this is that every couple has been at a wedding where there was nobody dancing for most of the night – what a disappointment.  This is simply down to the band not playing music that engages your guests. Gemini 4 has a single minded focus – play the music that works for your guests and gets the party going.  This surely involves playing music for the more mature guest – just look at all our Facebook reviews………….

What Instruments do you play?

We are a totally live four piece band, bass, drums, rhythm/lead guitar and keyboards. We also use whistle and harmonica on traditions songs/tunes. All four members of the band sing.  Of course having a  female in the band adds variety too!

Do you play Trad music?

Yes, unlike many wedding bands, Gemini 4 can play live Trad music. This is not a requirement at every wedding and is usually requested by the Bride or Groom in discussions before the wedding. Having a Trad background really helps in being able to provide for guests than may want a Set Dance, Stack of Barley, Shoe the Donkey, etc!

Are you available and how much do you charge?

How long does it take for the band to set-up?

It takes approximately 45 minutes.

Do you allow guests up to sing?

Yes, but only with the permission of the bride and groom.

What kind of music do you play?

Do you supply a DJ package?
